Today in our 2013 Ford F250 we're taking a look at, and installing the Curt Quick Goose II Gooseneck hitch with install kit, rated for 30,000 pounds. Part number C630-644. Here's what it looks like when it's installed. You can see it's got some nice spring loaded safety chains, tie downs, nice rubber cover that's going to keep the dirt and corrosion out of her pop up ball. Nice ring that's going to help you line it up when you're backing it up to your trailer. Right now we have it in the third position, when you're ready to release it you're going to remove the red handle, pulling back, allowing the black handle to slip in, and locking the ball into place. When we're ready to stow it away we'll reverse the procedure. more

Today on our 2016 Ford F350 Super cab, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the BNW turnover ball under bed gooseneck trailer hitch with the custom installation kit. Part number is BWGNRK1111. Here's what our gooseneck is going to look like installed and when not in use. As you can see this is going to leave us full access to our truck bed, which is really nice. That's why we got our trucks, we can haul stuff around and things like that. When we're ready, we simply pull out on the latch that we've got on the side, turn it into the lock position, then it's just a matter of pulling out our square shank ball. This is two and five sixteenths of an inch in diameter. more

Today on our 2015 Ford F-250, We're going to be showing you how to install the hide a goose under bead goose neck trailer hitch with the installation kit. This has a 30,000 pound capacity. It's part number is 9-4-6-0 dash 4-8. Once we have our goose neck installed, this is really all we're really going to see on the top side of the truck. It's a really nice, low profile hitch, it's not going to stick up really any higher than corregation on our bed, here. Same with our safety tie down, our safety cable connection points here which pull up for easy access. We're going to be able to connect on to those but then the springs are going to help to pull those back down. more

Today, on this 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty, we're going to show you the B&W Turnover Under Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with custom install kit, part number BWGNRK1108. We'll go ahead and show you what the hitch looks like when installed in a truck. For starters, we're actually looking on the driver's side in the fender well and we'll show you the control for the hitch ball. Our handle right here, we can pull out to unlock the hitch ball and hold it open will push it towards the front very slightly and it will stay open just like that. When we're ready to lock the ball into place, we'll pull back up on it. Twist the back towards the back bumper, a spring loaded and it will pull self back in. Now, our side plate for the hitch does bolt to the frame using existing holes, okay This is the clamp that goes around the frame as well. Now, let's go and take a look the installation that's in the bed. Now, this does require drilling, of course. 4-inch hole right here and for our u-bolt, it's going to be half-inch holes, okay Now, this is our hitch ball right here, of course. more

Today on our 2015 Ford F350 Super Duty with the manufactured, installed underbed gooseneck hitch attachment points, were going to review and install the curt ball and safety chain loop kit part number C60609. Heres what our kit is going to look like once its installed. This is a 2-5/16th ball and its capable of up to 30,000 pounds of towed capacity. The nice chrome-plated ball firmly locks into the attachment point using the two D10 balls. When its locked down, the balls are pushed out and fit nicely into the manufacturers pre-installed gooseneck hitch. Its a quick and easy install with the gooseneck ball and safety chain hold downs. Our safety chain hold downs are a steel construction which a nice black powder coat. more

Today in our 2015 Ford F350 Superduty, we will review and install the Elite Series Pop-in Ball Kit for manufacturer install underbed gooseneck hitches. Part number RP30137. Now here's what our pop-in ball and safety chain hold downs will look like once they are installed. The ball itself is a two and five sixteenths ball, with a thirty thousand pound tow capacity. The ball has an integrated lock, that will you to simply put it in, or take it out of the underbed mounted gooseneck hitch. The lock itself is two D10 balls that will go in when it's in the unlock position, and come out and lock in the lock position, holding it in the gooseneck throat. more

Today on our 2013 Ford F350, we're going to review and install the B&W Gooseneck underbed mounted hitch, part number BWGNRK1111. Here's what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. Let's go ahead and go through the operation. To operate the latch pin handle, we can pull out and rotate it towards the cab of the truck to hold it in the locked out position. This will allow us to drop in our ball or accessory. Then once we're ready to lock it down, we'll simply take the handle, rotate it towards the rear of the truck and release allowing the spring tension to lock in our ball or accessory. Now looking down through the throat of Gooseneck hitch, we can see our 5/8" pin in the locked position. We pull the handle back and rotate towards the cab and it locks it out. more

On our driver's side we have the side bracket, emergency brake cable hold down, and the release handle. Here's our handle in the locked position. We can pull it out and rotate it and it will hold out in the unlocked position. Then, once we've put our ball in position, we simply rotate it back towards the rear of the vehicle and release it and the spring pressure will reset the pin back into the locked position. more

The great thing about the B&W under-bed mount hitch is that we're going to have full use of our bed when it's not in use. As you can see, you've got a solid center section here as well as a solid one-piece ball mount. It's machined as one unit, so we're never going to have to worry about anything loosening up or having to tighten anything up. more

Today on our 2009 Ford F350 Super Duty, we'll be installing the B & W Turnover Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part numbers BWGNRK1108. Let's go ahead and go over operation of the new Gooseneck hitch. To pull the handle out to put our ball in position, we'll rotate it towards the cab of the vehicle locking it in the unlock position then once we drop the ball in position, we'll go ahead and rotate the handle towards the rear of the vehicle, unlocking the handle and allowing it to lock the ball into place of the gooseneck head. Then to turn the ball over, we'll simply pull the handle back out, turn the ball over, drop it back into place and then release the handle. Now we'll go ahead and install our new Underbed Gooseneck Hitch. Now to begin the install we'll first going to go ahead and lower and remove the spare tire to give us more working room underneath. Now with the spare tire remove we're going to go ahead and remove the rear wheels so we can get an easier access to the side of the frame. more

Today on our 2008, Ford, Fu50, we'll be installing the Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch, part number C640-644. Let's go ahead and show you how to use the new Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch. The red handle is our locking handle. Pointing straight down, the handle is in its locked position. We'll go ahead and turn it towards the front of the vehicle. Unlocking the handle allowing us to pull out, releasing the lock on the gooseneck ball. Then, by using the actuating handle, we'll go ahead and allow the gooseneck ball to come up through the gooseneck hitch. We can then go ahead and push the red handle back into place and re-lock it, locking a gooseneck ball up in a towing position. Then, once we're finished using the gooseneck ball, we'll simply unlock the handle, retract the lock and pull out on our actuating handle. As we get the actuating handle pulled out, we'll go ahead and push the hitch lock back into place and then lock the handle down, retracting the ball and locking it in a down position. Note, to begin our install, we've already gone ahead, and lower to remove the spare tire and both rear wheels. more

Today on our 2003 F350 Crew Cab Dually 4-wheel Drive with an eight foot bed, we'll be installing a Blue Ox Diamond Hitch Underbelly Gooseneck. Part number DH1201. Now we're ready to go ahead and show how the ball works on this hitch. To insert the ball, you'll squeeze the tab on the side, there's also a notch welded into the hitch, you will line this up and as the ball twist, it'll lock into place on the tab on the driver side. To remove the ball, you squeeze the small tab and work it back out the pattern. To store the ball, you'll flip the ball over, push the locking tab in on the side, lining up with the groove that's been cut in the upper part of the ball, and slide it down into place. To begin with, we went ahead and remove the rear tires from the vehicle. We'll need to go ahead and lower the rear exhaust hanger down. more

Today on our 2010 Ford F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab, were going to be installing the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part number 9460-48. Now with the handle in the open and in the lock-open position, go ahead and install the ball. Youll notice that theres a groove cut in to the end of the ball that goes on the driver side as theres a pin down in here that it lines up with. Go ahead and set the ball down in place, then we can release the handle locking the ball into position.Now when youre not using the ball, you can simply pull the handle, take the ball out, flip it over, slide it back down into position, and release the handle securing the ball into position. Heres also our safety chain loops. If you remember that they are spring-loaded underneath, so you can lift them up and hook the safety chain through it. more

Today on our 2009 Ford Super Duty, we'll be installing the Reese Fold Down Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part number 8339-4448. The fold-down gooseneck hitch will be able to be stored underneath the pickup bed, so it will be out of the way. Then when we need the gooseneck ball, we can simply pull on the ring, and allow the ball to come back up and lock back into place. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and lower and remove the spare tire and both rear wheels. While it may not be a requirement for this install, it will make our install easier, and give us a lot more working room. Next, we'll need to lower the rear portion of the exhaust. more

Then well remove the ball again by releasing the pin. What well do is well pull the handle for the pin and turn it clockwise and we can then remove the ball.When were not using the ball we can turn it upside down, store it in the hitch, lock the pin back in place, and our ballmount is secure to the hitch. Its flush so we can still use the bed of the truck without any obstruction.Now weve already removed our wheels and tires from the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 Ford F250, we'll be installing the Blue Ox under-bed Gooseneck hitch, part number DH1204. We can now go over operation of the new Gooseneck head. We'll take our ball, line up the cut out groove in the side of the ball with the nipple in the Gooseneck throat dropping the ball in place, turning it, and locking it into position. Then to remove the Gooseneck ball, we'll simply press on the lock, rotate it, and pull up and out removing the ball from the throat. To put the ball into the stored position, we'll simply turn it over, line the cut out with the nipple and then drop it into place. Now, we'll go ahead with our install. Note that we've already gone ahead and lowered and removed the spare tire and both rear wheels. Using the mark in the center of the bed, already premade by the manufacturer, we'll use it as the mark for our pilot hole that we'll eventually enlarge for the throat of our Gooseneck. more

First, well release the locking pin by pulling out and moving it to the side so it will stay in the open position. Well then take our gooseneck ball and drop it in place. At this point, you can release the locking pin and youre ready to tow your trailer.You can also flip the gooseneck ball upside down so it lays flat in the bed when youre not towing. However, if you have a heavy load in the back of your truck, you may still need to remove it so you wont hit the rear differential while traveling.This gooseneck trailer can also be used with the B&W Fifth Wheel Companion Hitch. Now you'll be able to either insert the ball with the ball up, or flip it over and put the ball down for the storage position. Once a ball is in place, simply take the handle, let it slide all the way back in, and now the ball is secure or locked in place. more

Today on this 2011 Ford F350 were going to install part number DH1204 from Blue Ox. To begin our install, were going to go ahead and lower our spare tire and get it out of our way. Next we also removed the back tire and wheels to make access to the hitch just a little bit easier from the side. Next, we need to locate the factory center punch located on a flap between the wheel wells. In this case, our truck has a bed liner in the way, so what we can do is go ahead and measure underneath the truck and find the mark, and measure to the edge of the bed. This will give us a rough idea of where its at. more

Today on our 2013 Ford F350 we'll be installing the Blue Ox Diamond hitch under bed goose neck trailer hitch, part number DH1204. To begin our test install first note we've already gone ahead and lowered and removed the spare tire. Then we'll remove both sets of rear wheels. Next to begin our install we'll need to remove the back section, or tail pipe, of the exhaust. Note, you can lower it, but it'll still be in the way. It's easier just to go ahead and unbolt it here at the rear flange. more

Today on our 2005 Ford F150, we're going to be installing the Reese gooseneck fold-down trailer hitch, part number 8339-4437. To start, we've already gone ahead and lowered and remove the spare tire and rear wheels. Wellbeing also removed the exhaust muffler and tail pipe to gain easier access up underneath the truck bed. Now our first step is going to be flattening the head channel just forward of the rear axle. There are two areas where the sheet metal is doubled up and will need to be flattened in order for us to put our frame rails in place. Quick tech tip: If you have an air hammer available, it can be very useful in smashing the sheet metal to allow for the frame rail to sit in its proper location. more

To make things a little easier were going to remove the spare tire, and the rear wheels that way it makes things easier to see and get to to attach the hardware. To begin our installation well go ahead and mark a hole in the truck bed. Now well go by the dimensions listed in the instructions. Well go ahead and measure from the edge of the truck. In this case, its going to be 46 inches. more

Today in our 2012 Ford F-350, we're going to be installing the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part number 9460-48. Our first step is going to be to lower the rear exhaust tailpipe. To do this, I've found it's easiest to go ahead and remove the rear bracket fasteners and three flange fasteners, and go ahead and remove the tailpipe from the truck. Next, we'll remove the hangers here. First, we'll spray them with some spray lubricant, and then remove the rubber isolators. This will allow us easier access in between the frame ramps. more
